Metal steel is the fastest growing of the top ten export categories, growing by 552.4% from 2021 to 2022. The second highest improvement in export sales was glass from Syria, up 28.5%. Cotton shipments from Syria ranked third in terms of increase, up 20.7 percent.
The largest drop in Syria's top 10 export categories was Vegetable, Fruit or Nut Products, down -59.6% year-over-year.
