Increased vehicle production is driving growth in U.S. auto sales after years of tight auto supply. In addition, pent-up consumer demand and growing fleet sales are seen as supporting growth. U.S. Electric Vehicle Import Trends
In terms of trade trends, there has been a significant increase in U.S. Electric Vehicles imports from 2021 to 2023. the number of U.S. imported Electric Vehicles traded was 737 in 2021, 997 in 2022, and 494 in the first half of 2023, which is more than half of the number of trades in 2022; the second half of 2023 is expected to see a new wave of growth.
