In 2023, global headphone exports reached an estimated value of $13.8 billion.
Over the past five years, the worldwide market for exported headphones has seen a decline of -4.4%, down from $14.4 billion in 2019. On a year-over-year basis, international headphone sales dropped by -8.7%, compared to $15.1 billion in 2022.
The top three exporters of headphones in 2023 were mainland China, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Together, these countries accounted for more than 41% of all global headphone exports.

From a regional perspective, Asia dominated the global headphone export market in 2023, with shipments valued at $7.5 billion, representing 54.2% of total worldwide exports.
